With this book Mirto Murray LL.M. and his colleagues contribute to having the attention focused on our Civil Code.

In this book the parliamentary history of the Civil Code of the Netherlands Antilles is made available and made accessible to everyone in a user-friendly manner.

This book not only fills a need, as I hear from participants in the legal profession. With this book Mr. Murray and his colleagues themselves also write history. This is the first time in the history of the Kingdom of the Netherlands that the explanatory memorandum on the complete Civil Code has been compiled in one handy book.
