Passionate urge to travel
Since my younger years in childhood I listened enthusiastically to the stories of my grandparents and aunt who every year traveled many times to far away countries. The language, the people, their different experiences which brought color to their story, inspired me continuously to discover and explore more and more. I knew at that time already that traveling would expand my vision.
My passionate urge to see and experience other cultures in their different settings and natural environment, is the reason why I like to travel to other destinations, in order to be able to understand life over there. Reason why I travel a lot and I am willing to give al lot for that.. Zou ik er uit laten)
Traveling for me is not lying on the beach or visiting bars, but to experience how people elsewhere live.
I find it interesting to learn their values and standards, visit their musea and other places of interest.
Hereby it’s particularly important to possess the capacity to anticipate on planned and
unplanned situations, in order to have a journey as perfect as possible.
Everyday I see as a journey by which each time I try to get the best out of it. I also apply this striving for perfection with the same passion in my profession as director to synchronize the elements people, structure and the rules and regulations of the organization to the highest level possible. The experiences that I gained during my journeys and visits to different countries provided me a deeper sense on how to see things in a broader perspective and helped me even better to anticipate in a variety of situations. This reflects in my functioning within the organization.
